For the past 11 years, Briana Murray has called Norcross home—raising a scholar son who is now a thriving junior at Paul Duke Stem High School and working every day to strengthen the fabric of our community. Together with her wife Nona, Briana owns a beloved local brunch spot and community space, where neighbors gather, connect, and support one another.
Deeply committed to what Briana calls “working diversity,” they have worked tirelessly to bridge divides in a city that is both beautifully diverse and too often segregated. Their service includes volunteering with organizations that support survivors of domestic violence, mentoring children growing up in difficult environments, and ensuring that no one in the community goes hungry when there is enough to share.
A vocal advocate for justice and fairness, Briana is also a careful listener and a balanced leader—ready to bring transparency, compassion, and accountability to Norcross City Council.
Small businesses make up over 90% of all businesses in the United States. They are the backbone of this country and of the City of Norcross, with over 11,000 small businesses in a city with close to 19,000 residents. The backbone must be supported.
